International students are matched with a Canadian student on the first day of their arrival at Langley Secondary School. Their buddy will introduce them to life at LSS and help them to feel comfortable at their new school. There are also many social events planned throughout the year for the International students and their buddies (eg. Bowling, skating, ski trips, dinners etc.). History has shown that those students who participated in these extra-curricular activities quickly felt like they were part of the school community.
